Water! H2O!! Liquid energy. I had a struggle with getting enough, too. Then I found a water bottle I love! It is clearly marked with 32 oz. (plus head room) and I put a filled one in the fridge ovenight, so it is cold in the AM. Then, after I drink my 2 c in a large glass mixed with fiber powder (need more of that, too), I am ready to sip on the blue bottle. When it's gone, I refill and give myself until 7:30 pm to finish it. That's an easy 10c. How many are you shooting for? I find I also drink a couple extra when we're in the hot tub (we take a Bubba Mug in there with us. Good luck! 1318 days ago
Nancy, I am in the wheat belly team with you. Just started reading the book yesterday. I have been eating paleo for months and have not missed wheat, toast, grains or anything. The variety of food and tastes are amazing. DH is eating this way since Labor Day, lost weight, down in pants size, off b/p medication and was used to eating toast with eggs bkfst. I made him a paleo bread in the bread machine and keep it in the freezer. He has a slice toasted some days and states he likes it. I make a frittata sometimes and we warm up a slice in the micro.
Nancy-thanks so much for the low sodium ideas. I love bread out of the bread machine also, but just read an article that says that baking soda and baking powder are high in sodium too-WOW!! I'll have to check the recipes out and see what I can come up with-I'll let you know if I hear any good ideas:) Thanks!! 1544 days ago
