I can't wait to start walking again. I have a frayed tibial tendon and am in a brace. That's why I stick so closely to my diet. It's not possible for me to walk off the calories yet. I am slowly adding aerobic exercise by 5-10 minute intervals and now up to 20 minutes on one machine and 10 on another. When I feel that I can go without the brace, I will start swimming a couple laps. 18 days ago
Hahaha! My hubby is ready for the Florida sunshine already! And the kids in Cancun have weather just like we do in Florida! It's been cool with temps in the low 70's during the day. It's been brrrrr at night! Please stay safe out in the cold, dear lady!
LOL, Gwen...you hit it right on the head! I got out my cozy fleece lined jacket. Figured I only get a couple of days use out of it. Sounds like you're not timid getting out into the snow and cold. I hope it's not too bad and that you're settling into your new diggs. Stay safe, dry and warm out in the weather...
Absolutely! Trips to Vegas are in the plans now! My youngest will be moving there in the spring. Her fiancé's mother lives in Vegas & they bought a house together. Four bedrooms & two bath. A huge kitchen! An outdoor pool. It's in a lovely gated community. She's just ecstatic! My daughter is in school at the moment & she's got to sell her home in Ohio. We helped her mom move some stuff over but they were having the rooms painted, so it was a tricky venture! I like Vegas to visit, but I wouldn't care to live there. It's a fun town, that's for sure! Every time I've visited, I always leave a little green behind! Hahaha! And ya know, the landscape is kind of brown..........lol Hubby & I are thrilled for them both, since they hate the winters up north. My other daughter just bought property in Punta Gorda, Florida (about an hour away from me). They plan to build a house on the canal there. So see, all my kids are escaping the weather in Ohio! We all dislike it!
Glad to hear you're enjoying your new home! We downsized & love it! Who needs all that stuff at our age, anyway?!! Keep warm & stay safe, dear sweet lady!
