The road to a healthier version of you may have many twists and turns. There may be detours and many tempting parking spots along the way. But, if you follow your map (an effective eating plan and physical training) and be aware of any trouble spots ahead by listening to traffic reports (mental conditioning and education), you will reach your desired destination (a healthy, maintainable weight). It may take you a little longer than you originally thought, but that’s ok. You want to enjoy your journey and, when the road is a bit slippery and treacherous, you want to be safe.
