2013 - House Updates & More Biking!
Time for a new year and new focus. My goal this year is to work on my house so that I can (hopefully) easily sell it in 2014 when my youngest graduates. I've had the outside painted already, replaced light fixtures, got new garage doors and have painted my extra bedroom. I fear I may need a new roof, which if it can't be covered by insurance, will totally destroy my budget and what I want to do. My fingers are crossed but if it has to be replaced then that is what I'll do. I've finally ...
Time for a new year and new focus. My goal this year is to work on my house so that I can (hopefully) easily sell it in 2014 when my youngest graduates. I've had the outside painted already, replaced light fixtures, got new garage doors and have painted my extra bedroom. I fear I may need a new roof, which if it can't be covered by insurance, will totally destroy my budget and what I want to do. My fingers are crossed but if it has to be replaced then that is what I'll do. I've finally found a great handyman which is helpful and I have so much confidence in his skills. As for my fitness and health focus, I've given my lifestyle a lot of thought and there are still come changes I'd like to make. I still want to lose a solid 10 pounds and continue to fight the changes taking place in my body. I've got the exercise down. I love to exercise - I love how it makes me feel and I love to do a variety of activities from yoga to strength and cardio classes and of course cycling and teaching Spin. I have worked really hard to incorporate more weight training in my schedule and have invested in an additional gym near my home to make sure I can get to the classes I love. So I guess the issue becomes my eating. I have got to work on my portions. I love to eat healthy but I also like to have treats as well. I have decided that portions and making sure I get plenty of fruits and vegetables daily. Here's to 2013!

My Goals:
I would like to finally lose the 10 pounds that I constantly stuggle with and tone up my problem areas (tummy, arms).
My Program:
Four days of cardio, two of which are wonderful spinning classes. Tracking my nutrition and getting more fruits and vegetables in my diet is key.
Personal Information:
Divorced mom of two teens, not currently in a committed relationship. Love sports both watching and playing. I have a great job with a wonderful organization. Have a black lab mix who is great to take for long walks and the occassional run.
Other Information:
I love to read and usually tend to read thrillers where people die violently. :)
