I started this weight loss journey on 2/1/2012 and have been going one step at a time. One exercise at a time. One learning curve at a time. 2/1/2012 225lbs 6/7/2012 175lbs. 2/1/2013 165lbs
My Program:
Keep up with the water aerobics and walking on the treadmill until spring. SHORT TERM GOALS Buy dress clothes for the weddings. Get the yard ready for the wedding.

Wetptarmingan's quoted this on her Sparkpage and I just knew I had to read this every day: My favorite quote from Birdie, a Spark Person who lost 140 lbs: Know that for every day that you have stayed within your calorie limits, you have used a little of your fat stores. The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.
