Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. We had a nice Thanksgiving over at my DD's. Then our granddaughter came back to our pace for the night, DD picked here up after work on Friday. She is 14 so probably won't be coming over to stay much with us anymore---at the age that soon it won't be cool to stay over at grandparents. We have a special bond as I babysat her from age of 6 weeks old until she started school. We took her out to lunch so we all enjoyed that yesterday.
Since we are hopefully leaving the day after Christmas for Texas, we aren't putting up our big Christmas tree this year. We did go and buy a smaller fiber optic tree which is up now.

This past week went by quite quickly, could be since we had somewhere to go or things to do every day. Did get exercising in some how managed to do so. Now today one of my medical problems decided to make an appearance again. So don't know how exercising will go, this one wears me down and usually last 3 to 5 days. Will hope I can at least get some walks in even if short walks are the exercise for awhile.

Dee, I just saw your goodie. I have not been on my sparkpage for awhile, so I just saw it today, the 23rd. I am glad that you spent time with your loved ones on Labor Day. That is wonderful. My family is doing fine, too. We are all working on doing school or work or something, just being productive. I hope that you are well. I had gotten off track a little in the past couple of months. But I am ready to change it up and work towards my goals. Good luck to you as we enter the fall part of the year! emoticon

Dee, we head out a week from this Friday, early in the morning. One week in Co. another in S.D. then home until right after Christmas when we leave for Tx. for four months. I have only been to Dallas, since we're driving will get to see the entire length of Tx.
My hubby finished his cardio therapy last week, got a glowing final report of how he did with the therapy. So now he walks up and down the hilly streets, goes up to the small workout gym here in our building for bike riding and couple of machine workouts. I can't go to the Y for swimming this week as the pool is down for at least a week. Today we went and wlked around the MOA
