Old Glory 5K run

Hello!
My name is Dee and I live in Northern Minnesota. My goal is to get healthy and learn to stay that way.
My long term goal is to weight 154 lbs. and then re-evalutate
Right now what is big for my family is preparing for our first 5K run. We have chosen the Old Glory Run in Cold Springs, Minnesota. This event supports the Disabled Vets of Minnesota. What a great cause! Wish us luck!

Sharing a quote:
The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

Thank you for the comment on my straw bale garden. If you have raised beds you are ahead of me. The straw works well. This is my third year using them, but there is a permanency to raised beds that is quite lovely. The straw bales have to be replaced every year.

Saw you said it was 70! You must have a swimming pool in your yard from all the meltiness! Hope your day was awesome, I know it was busy.

Hi, Dee! The loss today was 2 weeks worth. Stress and less emotional eating is what attributed to this. I seem to play with 10 lbs for a long time. Have a great day!

Love, hugs and many blessings,

Penny
