Short term Goals:
Week #1 Drink 8 glasses of water each day.
Walk 6 miles per week on the treadmill/road
1 hour of water aerobics x 2 times this week.
30 day plan is to be consistant with meals/water and exercise.


My Program:
I want to walk on the treadmill and go to water aerobics.
Eating clean is my goal and keeping white starch and sugar out of my diet.

The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

Hahaha... you cracked me up thinking about you giving the evil "change is upon me" look to a co-worker. Sorry Bob is a bit out there when it comes to listening. At least he's handy, as Red Green says. lol.
It took me the first two years to realize I was experiencing peri b/c instead of hot flashes, I get COLD flashes! I thought I was sick for sure, with teeth chattering in the heat of summer. The same part of the brain that controls temp regulation and is screwy during a hot flash can go the other way. That took a LOT of research. I've only had one flash that was hot. And the creepy-crawlies at night have finally seemed to go away so I'm ever hopeful things are leveling out. You've been the biggest help, sharing what you experienced. Thanks a million!

Thanks a million for leaving your comment on my post about TOM. I loved hearing your own experience. I had been pretty sure I would try to skip HRT if can, but you are only the 2nd person I've heard say they did it and survived! Seriously. You give me hope!!!
I had begun to wonder if anyone else was going to comment on that particular blog post...lol. Only 2 brave souls.
