Old Glory 5K run

Hello!
My name is Dee and I live in Northern Minnesota. My goal is to get healthy and learn to stay that way.
My long term goal is to weight 154 lbs. and then re-evalutate
Right now what is big for my family is preparing for our first 5K run. We have chosen the Old Glory Run in Cold Springs, Minnesota. This event supports the Disabled Vets of Minnesota. What a great cause! Wish us luck!

Sharing a quote:
The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

The first couple of days have been crazy at best. On top of that one of my medical problems chose to flare, making constantly tired and in some pain too. We did get more than enough snow last night, and may snow somemore yet---happy winter is loving its staying power I guess. Yes earning extra money is always a plus--so have a great weekend Dee.
