I've got to get back into the game. I've gain some weight back and I need to try harder to get it to come off faster.
Now that I admit there is room for improvement I feel better about it.

Week #1 Drink 8 glasses of water each day.
Walk 9 miles per week on the treadmill/road
1 hour of water aerobics x 2 times this week.
Get the bike out once the snow is gone.

My day was good. I had a nice time out with my guy tonight, and now we are home. My heart needed a little lift so I have been playing my piccolo. It's amazing what music does to your soul. :) I have messing around learning Alla Hornpipe from Handel's Water Music, it's been fun. Can't wait til I develop my embochure enough to easily hit the high notes, lol. It's so different than the clarinet. I finished off by just sitting back and closing my eyes and letting my mind wander and just playing whatever I could think of for a quite awhile. Funny thing is my mind was really gravitating to oldies like Sound of Silence and Country Roads and stuff like that. Even figured out a few camp songs from when i was a kid. If I was at your house I'd probably thinking Let It Snow, lol. Have to say I am totally relaxed right now; playing music does that to me... Hope your night at work is going well!

Hey Dee, thanks for the goodie. :) I don't really have any big plans for the weekend, which is good cause I am a little tired, lol.
I have been dealing with one of the ladies from the faith based addictions program I volunteer with, and it has been a little stressful emotionally, I cannot tell you how much I hurt for her. It is amazing how much damage a parent can do to a persons life, it seems the repercussions go on for a long time in someones life. The hurt and the struggles are so tough. In this particular ladies life I think I am the first one ever to love who for who she is, not for what I can get from her. I am thankful for my parents and knowing the unconditional love they had for me and my brother and sisters, and I cannot tell you how often I wish I could just wave a "magic wand" and give the same to some of these women who have suffered so much rejection, hurt, and abuse in their lives. It does have a rewarding side as you are able to watch their lives change and blossom as they progress through the program and shift their focus from themselves and their problems to walking with God. It is a blessing to work with them.
