Oubache Waves
Oubache, pronounced "wee-BAH-shee" is the Native American word for the Wabash, a river that runs near our home and that I see every day. Some days the river runs fast, and others it's a bit lazier. It can be calm and serene, or swift and exciting. The Wabash changes every day. Like the river, I am changing every day as I try to live a healthier life. Some days I'm quiet, some days I'm in a rush, but I'm always moving forward. That is why I chose the screen name Oubache.

My Program:
I'm doing the running program in the Rodale book, Run Your Butt Off. So far, so good. I really want to do a 5K and not come in last. This has been a goal of mine for awhile, but historically I've not been good about taking positive steps to reach that goal. This time I really think I'm going to succeed!
Personal Information:
My name is Jennifer and I live in north central Indiana. I enjoy being outside, gardening and working in the yard. I especially enjoy herb gardening and growing heirloom varieties of flowers and vegetables. I work with international graduate students and have enjoyed making friends from all over the globe.
Other Information:
I enjoy my pets (1 dog, and 4 cats), gardening, and watching the birds in our backyard. I also love to read and to travel whenever I get the chance. I love animals. A dream of mine is to open an animal sanctuary for unwanted senior citizen cats and dogs.
