Every CHOICE is important !

I should follow this advise:

"Never make someone a priority in your life
who makes you an option in theirs"

That means I need to make MYSELF a priority in my life, not just an optional part of my life. IF I want to be as healthy as I can be.

My Goals:
To accept God's love, to let myself believe God truly does love me unconditionally.

To make my learning a new better-for-me life-style a top priority in every moment of my life. Rather than a sometimes affair.

My Program:
I am in the process of learning "NEW" Healthy habits with the goal of their becoming my "Normal" Living habits. It may take the rest of my life to get my body to its natural weight. I prefer slow loss to my new forever weight rather than quick and having the battle of the bulge go on forever.

Personal Information:
I just LOVE old movies (40's and 50's especially) "Random Harvest" "Mr. Chips" "Pride and Prejudice" "Singin in the Rain"
AND how about the music!! BIg Band (Glenn Miller, the Dorseys) the singers: Frankie Laine, Perry Como, Billy Eckstine

Other Information:
I am an American with ancestors from other countries and ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War (and other wars since). I live in the Northeast in one of the New England states, New Hampshire. I live in an old body (with a young soul), am retired, a widow, & have 3 middle-aged children(?).

I gather you didn't get a lot of snow. We have a chance of rain on the 18th. Sure hope so. Henley didn't eat much today. I hope tomorrow he is feeling better. emoticon

Thanks Audra. It is still humid and muggy but thankfully we had some rain and it has cooled down considerably.
I am looking forward to my cruise on the 19th which is just going up the
Queensland coast to Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef. Only thing is there might be a cyclone forming and i hope it goes south east and dissipates in the ocean. Have a wonderful Wednesday. How did the voting go? emoticon

Books are definitely one of the hardest things things to let go, aren't they? At least I've stopped accumulating them, I've now gone back to using the library regularly, and seldom buy any books... and when I do, they're usually from a second-hand-book store.

Who are some of your favourite authors? I read a lot of mysteries and really like David Baldachi and Michael Connelly, but also enjoy Maeve Binchey, Francine Rivers, Ken Follett and Kate Morton. Peter seldom reads fiction, preferring biographies, history and travel books, so between us we have a lot of books.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I have been feeling the heat today and for the last 10 days basically.
I was actually wishing I could just roll in some snow...
Went to see a local production of West Side Story and thoroughly enjoyed
all the young actors. Will be having an early night as i went for a walk at 6 am and it was so hot already. Hopefully once February is gone, we will see some cooler weather.
Have a lovely Sunday. emoticon

Back is much better this morning, thanks, and everything is pretty and white outside with just 2-3" of fresh snow. Wish we could chat. I suspect we'd find lots of things to talk about.

You asked about my walk... it's off to a slow start, and I've really just left the Borders of Dartmouth, where I grew up. I'm heading down the Eastern Shore (highway 7), toward Antigonish and then Cape Breton. Blog will start tomorrow, and I'm hoping the commitment to blogging will keep me walking.

Have a good week-end and hugs,
Gail
