Hi and welcome to my Spark page! My name is Andreja, I'm 31 years old and I live in Slovenia. I started my weight loss journey a few years ago when I found Sparkpeople "by accident", and it has been a great experience! Now, both my husband and I are Spark enthusiasts. I have lost a considerable amount of weight already, and I'm not giving up despite the struggles. I am getting rid of the excess weight for good! At the same time I am aware that this is not just about losing weight - it's also about feeling better about myself and most of all, being healthy. And it is a lifelong journey!

Cardio: workout videos 5 days per week; walking daily - 10,000 steps

Eating within my calorie range (depends on my exercise, but it's quite small because I'm only 5'2); burning 3000cals a week with the help of workout videos (Turbo Jam, dance workouts and strength training); striving towards an overall healthy lifestyle with as little stress as possible.

HI hon !! I see on your status that eating fun things are kinda like "YUMMY !!" in full caps !! During the break it's sooo EASY to fall back into this. I have been taking in a little more calories than normal also. Today I said "NO MORAH" (Hey I am from Maine like most from the northeast we do NOT use our R's ,, well they come out more as "arrrhhhh") so I instead I am NOT to eat more than 300 cals for breakfast,, NO more than 400ish for lunch and in the low to mid 300s for suppah. Than 2 snacks in the evening.
Have you been having stuff around the area you reside in the most that perhaps should be in the cupboard? Mindless eating is sooo EASY to fall back into. OH YEAH !!! By simply removing the item,,, it makes all the difference. There are soooo many variables to why we eat stuff we'd rather not so the key is eat enough on our meals so we are not hungry. To keep mindful of not eating for the "sake of it."
We CAN do this together !! If it's easy for you,, please keep dropping me emails and we can both work on this. It's GREAT you are with us on break !! Imagine NOT being with us, how easy it'd be to fall back into the "old ways."
HUGS hon !! I TRY to come to my page daily, but there are just times I am sooo busy it's hard. Unknown to most who aren't leaders for the break,,,, I am the one who does most of the organizing for the teams with the break, and SMARTLY I have 3 other very capable leaders helping out,, one is of COURSE our very sweet, smart, motivated MaryAnn. He I BRIBE her since we are friends with threating her I'll ask for money for her to belong to the "Rent a friend" program which I organized in the 8th grade !! LOLOL That was WAY to funny at the time,, and YES since !! HAHAHA I HAVE TRIED to charge for me to be others friend, Yes in Middle and Senior HS one can get away with it !! It's the same in all HS's ,, charging for "Elevators tickets" the HS ,, Portland High in Portland Maine,,, has 4 floors, but of course at that time was NO elevators for anyone not in a wheelchair or a hardship to take stairs,, only 2 people in the 3 years I was there were allowed to use it. Still it's GREAT to throw off freshman with this !! HAHAHAHA !!

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet,
and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas,
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first,...it wet the bed.
This made me smile....hope it made you smile too!!

MY CHRISTMAS TREE WON'T GROW
Today I bought my Christmas Tree
Took it home to decorate
But...Oh No...Oh No!!
My Christmas tree is too short!
Oh my, What can I do?
My Christmas tree won't grow!
I sang it a carol
I played it a song
I fed it mince pie
But it's still too short
What have I done wrong?
So I ran it a bath
With herbs and salts
I dipped it in the water
I prayed and hoped
I waited and waited,
Then I pulled it out
I measured it once
I measured it twice
I measured it again.
It's just as I fear
It's still a short tree
