Strength training three days a week and cardio a minimum of three days a week. Eating right for a change.

I love to be outside. So gardening, hiking, kayaking and just walking are things are really enjoy. I also love to read and I've just re-entered the world of sewing after 25 years. Wow, I need much bigger patterns!

Hi, just dropping by to thank you for taking the time to read my blog and comment on my now non-existent caffeine intake, via all those coffees. I don't really know what made this attempt to stop drinking coffee a success, but I'm sure Sparking made all the difference this time - I was so busy trying to reclaim my life by eating healthy, learning to drink water, finding ways I could actually get my body working out, etc. that I just decided I may as well give coffee away at the same time. I had a really bad headache the first day, but over the next 5 days it gradually disappeared.
What amazed me was that I could actually smell coffee (my long time favourite aroma) when someone else was drinking it, and think 'eeuuwww', lol. I guess my body was definitely needing a complete revamp.
