02/01/2012 == This is all been done before. I know how the game works. I know how to play the part. But this time around. I'm learning to enjoy my role. Accepting the changes that my body is going through. Enjoying the ups and the downs. Accepting that this is all part of life, and that I must roll with the punches. Life isn't easy, I know that....nor is changing my life style. It's a task, that I must learn to accept, learn how it works, learn what I can and cannot expect of my body, and ACCEPT IT. My life is different than it was 7 years ago, and way different than it was 2 years ago. But that's okay. It's my life, and I'm living it how I need to live it, in order to accomplish my goals...and besides...I've learned...it's truly all about the journey...and this time...I'm enjoying the journey...


This is a journey that has been done before....and unfortunately I am having to re-do it. This time it is different and I will succeed and not back slide. I have a little one that needs me. She needs me at my best at all times...This is for her..but it is more for me, so that I may be able to support her long into her adult years....

This is for my husband. The most amazing and supportive man I know. He has loved me through thick, thin, pregnant, and back to thick again. He never once has let me down. Never once told me I was fat or ugly. He has only been supportive. I love you....

But most of all this is for me. I want to be active. I want to be healthy. I want to have fun with my family and enjoy time with them. I want to be able to climb a flight of stairs and not have to rest at the landing. I want to be able to go to the store and grab a pair of shorts/pants/shirt off the rack and know that it will fit and I won't have to pay the extra $4-$5 bucks for the "larger sizes". I want to be healthy. And I want to be an inspiration to others. So they can see that it can be done. IT is NOT impossible. It takes work, HARD WORK, dedication, focus, and determination.....I will accomplish this. I will succeed. I will achieve. I will win this fight....because I AM DONE!!! DONE BEING THE FAT GIRL!!!

As of today, I am starting my training for my 1/2 marathon on November 14, 2010. I completed my first 5K on Saturday. For the longest time I always thought I was a cyclist, and now I wonder if I am a runner....no take that back, I KNOW I am a runner. I am only getting stronger everyday that I attempt what I thought was impossible.

Fitness Minutes: 17,416

My Goals:
1. Be consistant w/ my calories to avoid "the bingies"

2. Exercise at least 3 times per week.

3. Start C25K on 01/23/12 and finish on Friday 03/23/12

4. Run my 1st 5k back on 3/31/12 to support the ADL.

5. 05/19/12 be the 2nd or 3rd leg of the Beach to Bay Marathon.

6. Be prepared for Nov 2012 and beat my Nov 2010 1/2 marathon time..



My Program:
Nutrition wise I am watching my calories. Staying between 1300-1650.

Exercise: Running MWF to build myself back up. Hoping to get in a 4th day on Saturday
