Welcome to Pamalams' Sparks Page

After taking a year of "no major changes" I got very healthy, met my goal, and got a little bored. A job shift in 2011 has certainly cured me of the boredom, but most of the weight I lost with SP crept back on. Ugh!

When thinking back on the many ways I tried to lose weight I realized SparkPeople was the biggest help when I had the most success for the longest time. So I am back to give this another try.

1. Manage food intake to stay with in SparkPeople nutrition goals.

2. Exercise daily and alternate between cardio and strength exercises (yoga and kickboxing)!

3. Get up at 5:30 on weekdays and 7:30 on weekends.

3. Keep a regular journal.

I do not always have the capacity to verbalize what I feel deep inside my heart. Therefore, I have cultivated the habit of saving quotations which have touched me. Recently I came across this and I would like to share it with my friends.

Every day is a new day -
a day for new beginnings, new dreams, new action -
a day for challenge, adventure, and discovery.
