Welcome to Pamalams' Sparks Page

After taking a year of "no major changes" I got very healthy, met my goal, and got a little bored. A job shift has certainly cured me of the boredom, but 11 of the 19 pounds I lost with SP crept back on. Ugh!

So now I'm back, certain that I'll be able to lose the weight, but not so certain I'll be able to keep it off under times of stress and upheaval. I can be ruthlessly disciplined for periods of time, but I'm rather bad at sustaining a very balanced, moderate lifestyle. ...

So I have a lot to learn, and I'm ready to start "taking notes"

I do not always have the capacity to verbalize what I feel deep inside my heart. Therefore, I have cultivated the habit of saving quotations which have touched me. Recently I came across this and I would like to share it with my friends.

Every day is a new day -
a day for new beginnings, new dreams, new action -
a day for challenge, adventure, and discovery.
TODAY, what is your goal?
What is your dream?
What action are you taking to further your goals and dreams? emoticon
