Getting Healthy and Fit....

If we practice what we have learned about eating healthy and exercise, and if we eat until we are satisfied and not stuffed, we can break the cycle of overeating and become the healthy person God intended for us to be...I have gained my health back through good nutrition and exercise. I am looking forward to using this site to help control overeating and giving into my cravings, and to drop those last 15 pounds!

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to be energetic and feel the best that I can to live life to the fullest.



My Program:
I will exercise 4-5 days a week for at least 30 minutes and do strength training 2-3 days a week.
I eat clean with no white flour and sugar with whole and unprocessed foods.


Personal Information:
I am 56 years old and a teacher. I have a faithful husband who loves to bicycle with me and walk together. I have a beautiful and talented 18 year old daughter.

That 2500 monthly fitness award is not as impressive as it seems. I wear a fitbit and it counts all my steps as fitness minutes. I really only get about 40 minutes on the elliptical a day and then whatever strenuous project I'm working on...but that varies. I need to do strength training, but figuring that out isn't working so well all by myself.
