I am long standing member of Sparkpeople. My goals are listed below:

1) Drink 8 glasses of water/day -- this is a goal that I have to stretch to reach since I just sip my water throughout the day.

2) Track my nutrition intake using the Sparkpeople tracker.

3) Track my calories burned using the Sparkpeople fitness tracker.

4) Eat at least 5 fruits/veggies per day.

5) Exercise 5-6 days/wk for a minimum of 30 minutes on cardio days, and 20 minutes for strength training.

I a First Place 4 Health Member and have lost 10 pounds in 12 weeks. God is first place in my life and is helping me to make the right choices to stay healthy, fit and live a good life.

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to be energetic and feel the best that I can to live life to the fullest.

My Program:
My plan is to exercise 5-6 days a week for at least 30 minutes and do strength training 2-3 days a week. My favorite exercise is interval training, which alternates cardio with strength training. My plan is to do interval training Monday, Wednesday and Friday and walk, jog and bike on the weekends. I am drinking smoothies with no sugar for breakfast; low carb lunches to keep my energy up during the work day; one or two healthy snacks and a well balanced dinner.

Personal Information:
I am 60 years old and a teacher. I have a faithful husband who loves to bicycle with me and walk together. I have a beautiful and talented 21 year old daughter, and a cute shi-poo named Biscuit.
