WELL I HAVE DECIDED TO GET OUT OF THE WATER AND START WALKING..........Hello My name is Pamela. I am a mother of 4 wonderful children two boys and two girls. I have also been seeing a wonderful man since Jan 08 . I have been over weight since I had my first child 17 years ago. I went from 130 pounds to post pregnacy weight of 170. I lost 20 and stayed around 150. I then had my second and managed to get back to the 150. After my third I stayed at the 170 for a year not lossing anything. I then decided to lose weight. I had a neighbor who always ran and did aerobics in fact she was the instructor. So I joined and she helped me lose the weight I went down to a size 7 and 145 pounds. Shortly after I met my goal I ended up pregant with my fourth child. I stayed working out for awhile. I then ran into some problems and was told to stop the aerobics. I started gaining more weight then I wanted to. After delivery I went back to the 160's to 70's. That was 11 years ago and since then I have tried many times to lose weight. Four years ago I started walking at the gym and lifing weights. I lost about 10 pounds in a month and then it happened I ended up with a bloodclot in my leg. Since then its been hard to walk. I went up to 170 pounds and have been able to stay at that weight but in the past 9 months I have slowly or maybe not so slowly gained 30 pounds. I am starting my weight loss program as I am finding myself tiring easy with simple tasks also I am the heaviest I have ever been besides while I was PG with one of my children. I am hoping this site will help inspire me to stay on tract. With my legs always swelling my Doctors have suggested swimming. They also have said to walk through the pain and eventually it will get easier. So here I am willing to give it a try.

My Goals:
I tend to set short term goals as if they are to far away I think that I have the time and slack off. With each goal meet I will reward myself with a massage. for each 10 pounds lost I will get a big reward from shopping, hair coloring, new tatoo (at 145), weekend away. As of today, DEC 18 2009 I am setting new goals. Weight Goals 1/01 190 Award hair color 2/01 180 Award New outfit 3/01 170 Award Massage 4/01 able to run a 5k New outfit Daily goals 1. To walk 5 times a week even a small amount 2. To eat more fruits and Veggies 3. Drink 12 glasses of water Long Term Goal: \ Oct 1 135
My Program:
1200-1500 cals a day Walk 3 miles 5 times a week
Personal Information:
Live in the SW part of MInnesota and work a full time and a part time job. I have a wonderful man that I have been with for 21 months and lived with for the past 9. I have 4 active children, they are involved in sports and I am always going and putting myself second. Well I figured it was time to put myself first at least till I get to the weight I want then everyone will be equal.
Other Information:
I have one daughter who is alittle on the heavy side so I am trying to cook healthy and only keep healthy food in the house. She is another reason I want to get healthy, to set a good example.
