The Trout is Hooked!

My journey has lasted almost 5 years. More than likely, had I followed my plan for a healthier me consistently, I'd have been in lifelong maintenance as of 2 years ago.

One of the things I've learned along the way is that it's useless to be mean to myself but rather, to pick myself up & try again.

There are a wealth of resources here & I've made use of ALL of them .... just not at the same time. This is the year where I integrate all this knowledge and act ...

Thanks for stopping my page. My cute puppy's name is Tashi. She is a Tibetan Terrier. She looks like a smaller version of a Bearded Collie. She's my motivation to move. I feel guilty if I don't play with her or take her for walks. First thing in the morning as soon as she knows I'm awake she comes into the bedroom with her favorite ball and starts barking and growling to go outside and play, I can't even shower first. She loves to go for walks. Her leash and harness hang on the doorknob. She will swat the leash with her paw and roll around on the floor growling and acting crazy. Sometimes we drive to a nearby park. She knows where she is when we turn into the parking lot. She can't wait to get out of the car and starts whining because she is so excited. I read somewhere that your dog should have to trot to keep up with you. I don't walk that fast so it's more like a sniff and walk for her. She just runs back and forth sniffing everywhere. The only part of her that gets any real exercise is her nose. She loves it, and it's good exercise for me. Funny how I get bossed around by a little 23 pound dog. Looks like you have a big puppy. Play with him lots, and take him for walks. emoticon

Thank you so much for the encouraging words with my seedling goodie :) it was a great reminder that it is up to me to take care of that seedling to see it grow, it can't do it on its own! Have a fantastic rest of your week
