Striving for a healthier, lighter me!!

Hello Everybody.... my name is Christine. I'm a wife, mother of 2, grandmother (Nana) of 4. I work full time at a job I really enjoy. I love to travel, read and garden. I'm trying to get healthier, and a whole lot lighter on my feet. Doctor says 90 lbs off, I have got to get with it, and could sure use lots of encouragement, so I WILL SUCCEED:)

My Program:
I walk on the treadmill a total of 45 minutes a day minimum, I drink water all day long, at least 3 liters if not 4, I eat a lot of fruit and salads... NO SODA, NO ADDED SUGAR, NO FRIED FOODS, NO SWEETS!!! I started July 18, really trying hard, and I feel really good, almost 3 weeks in, lost 6+ lbs, and loving life.

Personal Information:
I'm a Tennessee girl, have been all my life, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I love having grandkids, they are my world, nothing in the world like grandkids:)

I've been saying that ever since April 2011, when the tornadoes tore through our community, and TEMPORARILY RUINED LIFE AS WE KNEW IT.... BUT WE REBUILT AND SURVIVED IT, AND IT DEFINITELY MADE US STRONGER IN SOOOOOO MANY WAYS.

That's how I feel sometimes in the mornings when I'm on the treadmill at 6:00 am, I sometimes say that to myself just to remind me this will not kill me and IT WILL MAKE ME STRONGER, HEALTHIER, LIGHTER AND SO IMPROVE MY LIFE!!!

Close your eyes, and imagine 2 bricks of butter. That is HUGE! Be proud of yourself! I guarantee if you grabbed a 2-pound weight and carried it around all day, you would notice how much 2 pounds is! Congratulations on your success! KEEP GOING! emoticon

Don't be so hard on yourself! Not sure you know this, but if you click on your spark goodies, it will open a page and folks often leave you notes with the goodie-there will be a NOTE link under the goodie image-check it out.
