Hey Everyone! My name is Steph and I'm a born and raised cheese head from Green Bay, WI...and yes I love beer, brats and cheese. I'm 5'7" and LOVE exercise and the way it makes me feel, but I also have a strong and undying devotion to food and every kind of it :) I love to cook and experiment with new recipes and ideas and need to try them all. Because of this my weight fluctuates up and down within 20 lbs...and that's a lot to fluctuate! Right now I'm at the high end of that spectrum--I have about 25 lbs total I want to lose (the 20 that's always been there, and 5 extra for vanity just to prove to myself that I can! ;).

My main goal is to just quit being so self-conscience all of the time because of the extra giggle all over. I really want to feel good about myself and set a good example for my daughter by not letting food and exercise control my life. There are a few reasons that are more aesthetic that I'm not afraid to admit-- I love volleyball and think how nice it would be to play it on the beach this summer in a suit without having to cover up, or the crazy amount of clothes I have that are either to "trendy" to wear when I'm heavy and just plain don't fit! And who doesn't want to look good naked, come on now!! :) Another thing is that I love cheekbones. I think they are so sexy and love the look of a chiseled face, and for me, chipmunk cheeks come with the extra pounds so it'd be nice to have some structure up there.

After I had my daughter (she is 3 now) I lost a lot of the baby weight but still have a lot of giggle hanging around. Mind you, I gained 69 lbs when I was pregnant...I know I know...now how the f did that happen?! Ok, I'll admit... I did eat entire boxes of ice cream drumsticks. I was that girl--heyo I'm eating for two, bring on the buffet!! Either way I know I can't do THAT anymore! If there is another baby down the road I now at least know not to take that route again.

Overall I just want to live a natural and peaceful life. It takes a lot for me to no be go-go-go all the time and to just sit back and relax and enjoy a bit of serenity. This is a journey for me--of finding myself, of finding peace through yoga and exercise, and to nourish my body with healthy, fresh foods...to learn to sit back a bit.

I'm an avid writer and love to talk so if I post a few blogs/video blogs a day, don't be alarmed. I look forward to this journey with all of you!

-64 oz water per day
-Yoga 3x per week
-Run min. 15 miles/week

-Church 1x/week

-Become a certified fitness instructor

My Program:
Running 3x week, yoga & various workout dvd's. Eat as much natural/organic foods as possible and make sure to have major portion control!
No stress or boredom eating!

I have a beautiful little red head that melts my heart each and everyday along with a superhandsome manfriend and his amazing 11 year old son.

Thank you for the info! I haven't tried quinoa with anything extra mixed in -maybe that would help with it making me nauseous. I literally made notes from your comment. LOL I had my nose in the latest Clean Eating magazine last night dog-earing several pages. I'm gonna try to get my butt in gear for the new year. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
