FIT FOR SUMMER

Summer is on its way and time to make the most of the good weather.
Nutrition is important so I will be using more fresh ingredients like salads and vegetables from the garden in my meal plans.
A 9 inch plate works for me as this limits the portion size and I am doing well with it so will stick to using it.
Gardening will be top of the list as pots and vegetables will need attention as they grow.

Getting out for walks will be possible as it is always nice to go for a walk in the sun and drink in the tranquillity of nature.
I am slowly mastering the food side of life, now it is time to get the fitness side organised. I am planning on 30 minutes a day for 5 days this allows me 2 days rest where I can either do a little less exercise or more if I want to.
I will be using Walking, Cardio and Strength videos most of which will be done seated. Floor exercise is not for me so I workout from a chair. My hips and back will not allow me to do a lot of things but I do what I can and have tracked down plenty of exercises I can do.
This Summer is going to be a time to step things up, no excuses I want to look by best and that means getting to grips with my fitness plan.

Hey Paula - I just saw your question about adding miles and not steps and yes; look at your set up. Over on the leg side about midway down there is the option to set up your default measurement units. You can check distance and that will allow you to put in your miles.

It looks like this:

Default measurement units
Which unit of measurement do you prefer to track while walking?
Steps

Distance

Energy burned

It's not about what size you wear.
It's about HOW you wear YOUR size!!!
