FIT FOR SUMMER

Summer is on its way and time to make the most of the good weather.
Nutrition is important so I will be using more fresh ingredients like salads and vegetables from the garden in my meal plans.
A 9 inch plate works for me as this limits the portion size and I am doing well with it so will stick to using it.
Gardening will be top of the list as pots and vegetables will need attention as they grow.

Getting out for walks will be possible as it is always nice to go for a walk in the sun and drink in the tranquillity of nature.
I am slowly mastering the food side of life, now it is time to get the fitness side organised. I am planning on 30 minutes a day for 5 days this allows me 2 days rest where I can either do a little less exercise or more if I want to.
I will be using Walking, Cardio and Strength videos most of which will be done seated. Floor exercise is not for me so I workout from a chair. My hips and back will not allow me to do a lot of things but I do what I can and have tracked down plenty of exercises I can do.
This Summer is going to be a time to step things up, no excuses I want to look by best and that means getting to grips with my fitness plan.

I live in Milton Keynes England with my Husband Colin.

I enjoy knitting and crafting for friends, family and charities.
I love reading Mystery, Crime, Horror, Fantasy, Adventure and Classic novels as well as non-fiction.
The TV and films I like mirror my reading likes.
I write poems, keep a journal and do my best to illustrate it.
I listen to music and my favourite forms are pop, light classical, Neil Diamond and John Denver amongst many others.
I love Nature and work in my garden as much as I can.
My favourite animals are cats, wolves and hares. Mythical beasts I love are Dragons, Unicorns and the Phoenix.


Other Information:
Forming healthy habits is important to me as I am workimg on a healthy lifestyle for life not just to lose weight.
