I started my new weight loss journey on 11/5/07 and I couldn't be happier. I've discovered a new love for exercising. (more like a good addiction now!) When I grow tired or bored of something I switch it up, try something new or challenge myself further. It's a great feeling.
Never in my life have I been so dedicated to just me. For once in my life I'm making serious steps toward improving not only my health, but my mental spirit. I don't feel depressed and anxious all the time.
This is not a temporary diet. Nope. No way, no how. It is a healthy lifestyle change and long-term investment.
WHAT I DON'T MISS:
-Being tired ALL the time
-Buying loose fitting and large size clothes
-That sick, overstuffed feeling after I ate too much in one meal
-My BIG size jeans
-Horrible acid reflux all the time
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT BEING HEALTHY:
-Energy, energy and more energy!!
-My new self-confidence
-All the wonderful comments from family and friends
-Becoming an inspiration to others
-All the fabulous new, flattering and fitting clothes
-Clothes shopping with my sissy and loving it!
-I'm not afraid of the camera anymore
-I have more self-control
-All of the healthy new foods that I've been missing out on!
-My hands sliiiiiide down my waist instead of resting on a muffin top
-Wearing slim fitting clothes, loving it and not feeling self-conscious

The best part of my program is how I have stepped up the exercise! My portions are in control, whole wheat grains, no soda, no sugar and no sweets. No snacking after 7pm and more water!
