I have changed team on 5% once again. This time my doing. I will be on cruise with no internet during this challenge so it was suggested I try travelers team. I have enjoyed getting to know new friends on this team. With members in and out on trips, we may never be in first place, but we're working on our goals the best we can.

Time for a change. I have been doing the same thing for some time now without success. It is time to find a way to make some more changes. Right now a lot of possibilities are running through my mind. I need to get my thoughts together and make a real plan now that I have retired. My failure to plan differently with my retirement has been a plan for failure.

Beginning 5% Challenge very soon. This is my last year to teach. I will retire at the end of the school year. This will bring about a lot of changes. I hope the biggest change will be weight loss and healthier living.

My Goals:
1. Use tracker daily
2. Exercise 6 or more days a week. During 90 and above heat, use DVD's in cool basement.
3. Eat meals using full plate plan.
4. Continue to try new Spark recipes.













My Program:
1.Exercise at lease 30 min. 6 days a week. This will include WATP & Fit, Firm & Fired up DVDs.
2. Eat using full plate program. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies.

I have just retired from teaching. I plan to return a lot as a volunteer.

DH and I have 3 beautiful daughter, all married now, and 5 wonderful grandchildren. We hope to see more of them in retirement.

Other Information:
I've had an awesome summer to start my retirement. Now to plan the rest of my retirement years! I want to serve more now, and get back into crafts, sewing, and reading.

Peggy, congrats on Grandbaby No. Six!!
Today I spent with my son and my youngest grandchild (age almost 6 months) and loved how HE was responsible for all 'baby care' chores and I could be the adoring-without-responsibilities grandma! ;)

I only made the biking yesterday, and only made my first workout at the Wellness Center (yay!) and walking on the treadmill today.

But it shouldn't be too hard to do both. I don't walk nor ride too far - yet!!:-)

Sometimes it's hard to resist stuff - like the chocolate chip cookie and the cheesy taters:-) But that's okay - as you said, you were under the day before, so it evens out.

Great job!
