Thank you for your comment on my blog about the scale. I have a love/hate relationship with the scale. I love how weighing in daily can keep me on track but hate that I can get just as frustrated if it doesn't go as expected. I don't think I have the willpower to avoid it for a whole month (I'm impressed!!) but I will try to cut back on it.
I wish I could talk to you directly! Hang in there today. Be as tough as you can BEFORE you binge, and as gentle as you need to be afterwards, if it happens. Whether you binge or not is not the measure of your worth today or any day, though it may have an effect on your physical comfort, and bingeing will often induce some very uncomfortable thinking as well. Never believe insulting thoughts after a binge! They are an effect of the chemicals from the food. They are not the truth.
If you don't feel you can do anything fun or productive instead of eating today, just lounge or veg if you have to.
