My Goals:
I would like to lose some more weight. I think I will be more comfortable moving and being active in and outside the house.
Want my A1c to be below 7.
I am a type 1 diabetic (T1D)
I want to be able to jog at least a mile straight.

My Program:
Following a diabetic diet plan from Spark and staying within the calorie guidelines.
Slowly adding to my exercise minutes each day/week.
Love kettle bells!

Personal Information:
I am a retired art teacher and am now finally with a group that has shows, and hopefully some day, will have our own gallery.
I came to Texas as fast as I could!

Yes--I see your Bob in the background ...... so I will take heed and beware ... lol .......... also Debby said she laughed as her dog is named Bob ......... and I have a SIL named Bob ..... and you definitely have to watch your back with him!! ........ Thank you for your input on the tracker. I replied to your message.

I'm not sure how you manage to stay within the guidelines for the SP plan for diabetics. I tried for quite awhile and could stay within the calorie range but the carb range was way too high for me. I have a good deal of IR and there's no way I can eat the carbs recommended. To keep the carbs down, I had to eat in a way that caused the fat and calories to be too high. To keep the fat in the right range, I had to eat too many carbs. It was a no win for me so I gave up and went with Heart Healthy which is a little more manageable for me. I still have problems keeping the fat and protein in line at times but not so often.
