On the right path..

thankfully I changed my goal into three segments. The first goal I reached and thought how easy it is to lose so I might as well aim for a lower weight. Today I am 1.5 lbs away from that goal and feeling so good I am aiming for another 10 lbs loss, which will be my weight I had before I had children and in my 20's. I also want to fit into size 6, not 8 like now, and I am flirting with the idea of wearing the same size of my girls (size 2 - 4). But that is a selfish reason, I would like to ...

My Goals:
First I want to have a healthy BMI around 20. To feel good in my old jeans and to live a long healthy life. To feel slim and trim and to get that strut walk back. According to Seaglassqueen, I should start the strut first and that supports the mind. Ok, ok now I am strutting and loving my body. It deserves it!

My Program:
I enjoy Dr. Fuhrman, Tana Amen's recipes (the brain doctor's wife), and Jon Gabriel's visualizations. I feel better without gluten and low carb meals. I love the no diet mentality, and I am watching youtubes from Jenna la Flamme, who is also very cute and motivational. Her plan is pleasurable weight loss, and listening to the body what it wants, not ego. You know who, the one voice that says you are full, but your ego says, no way I want more.




Personal Information:
Nicki, from Phoenix, Arizona. I lived 36 years in Switzerland.
Upon returning to my hometown, Phoenix, I finally got to finish my B.S. in Psychology at ASU. I am now retired and enjoying being a woman of pleasure!


Other Information:
I believe in the good in the world. I refuse to listen to negative information and I believe in myself. I love living in Phoenix again, and hope to never leave Arizona again. My husband is Swiss and he feels the same...for
Switzerland. We live together 3 months, then are separated 3 months, then it starts all over again. it works for us.

Yes we can all do it, and thank you for the information about walking. I should go mornings and evenings. Too hot for lunch time in Phoenix.

Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't - you can as long as you believe you can!

I have heard "the last 10 lbs are the hardest" - honey, they're all hard, lol. But they will also all leave you one at a time when they're good and ready to jump ship!

It really is ONE day at a time, ONE bite at a time, ONE step at a time, ONE pound at a time. But, if you stay the course, the pounds have nowhere else to go but down!

If I could start at 56, already in menopause, then you can do it too. All I did was count calories and use walking and the Walk Away The Pounds videos.

Stay with it - YOU are worth it!

p.s. re walking, I walk on average 3X daily, for a total of 6-7 miles. days that my walking buddy is not available, I do less.

Walk Away The Pounds videos did more for me than anything else. And, anyone can do them. Most libraries have them and you can find some at YouTube as well. I think.

I am so motivated now. I read on Raylinstephens page someone mentioned that .25 of a lb is a stick of butter! That made me feel so good at my baby steps! I love reading Raylinstephens sparkpage! Wow you rock! Sassifrasstea we can do this.

Hi Nicki: I am so glad you are back on BFC diet. We sure should help each other. I love this diet and really need someone to kick me in the butte. How about we stay in contact and accountable to one another?
