My time is now!

I am taking back my life. But I need help! I am enveloping myself in this. I am working this site to keep my goals out in front of my face.

I have recently gone through a difficult time in my life and am trying to work through it. My Mom had some health issues and I gave up my life to be there for her. I worked a modified schedule so I could be at the hospital with her as much as possible. I would stay at the hospital until she fell asleep for the night and then get up early ...
I am taking back my life. But I need help! I am enveloping myself in this. I am working this site to keep my goals out in front of my face.

I have recently gone through a difficult time in my life and am trying to work through it. My Mom had some health issues and I gave up my life to be there for her. I worked a modified schedule so I could be at the hospital with her as much as possible. I would stay at the hospital until she fell asleep for the night and then get up early to go to work. I gave up working out, my boyfriend and I broke up (for other reasons also), and I was eating at the hospital. This started in May and in October she passed away. Now I spend as much time as I can with my Father. They were married for 63 years and I am trying to help him with the transition. He has been cooking for me during the week so that he has a purpose but can sometimes be not as healthy as I would like. When were not going out to eat, I cook for us on the weekends so I can eat healthy then.

I have been thin all my life but starting 10 years ago I started to put on weight. I blamed my job and things going on in my personal life but now realize I let myself use those as excuses. I need to overcome my obstacles and fit in time for me to exercise, focus on portion control, and ommit stress/emotional eating.

I need to get back to exercising. I have purchased things to workout at home (games, videos), I have signed up at a gym and hauled out my exercise machine to the middle of the living room.
