I'm a wife and mother trying to get herself and her family into a healthy lifestyle.

I've tried on three separate occasions to lose weight. Every time I started losing the weight, a "stressful" event would occur and I'd eat my emotions to get them"under control".

This time I've done my research, I've taken more control over my emotions and, although emotional eating will always be part of who I am, I've got my action plans to help me reach my goals.

- July/13: Update after a year, I've lost 80lbs and regained 15. Set a new goal for myself and I've caught myself before anything gets out of hand. I'm starting to focus more on the active lifestyle this year as I feel I've got the healthy eating under my belt.

My Goals:
To lose weight and keep it off.

To keep my emotional eating under control.

To regain who I was when I was younger.

My Program:
Plan my meals a week ahead. So if today's Monday, I'm planning next Monday's meals. This way, I can print out my grocery list and make sure that I can't sabotage myself by "forgetting" to buy something.
