Is The Journey More Exciting Than the Destination? Just Wondering!
Hey there! My name is Lisa, and I am easing away from the Optifast plan, and into a more long term plan. See my 11/15/09 Blog for more details.
I have been overweight my entire life. Well from like 2-now. I was actually born premature and weighed like 5 ibs. I wonder what that felt like!? I have tried every reputable diet at least once.

I have been overweight my entire life. Well from like 2-now. I was actually born premature and weighed like 5 ibs. I wonder what that felt like!? I have tried every reputable diet at least once.
Why is this time different?
I lost my dad suddenly to morbid obesity in January, 2008. Even at the funeral people were looking to me wondering if I was going to be next. I resemble my dad the most, and I am the largest in my family. I was terrified. I started working out and even got a trainer for awhile. Then the loss set in when I relocated from DC back home to NC. I became really depressed and gained all 30 something pounds back and topped out at 310. I regained momentum when I was slapped in the face with the fact that my physical "fabulousity" did not match my resume's "fabulousity".
Why did I choose PigtoChick as my name? "How cruel!"
When I started I told someone it was because I enjoy farm animals, and I compared my personality to that of a domineering pig. I have decided my reasoning is evolving. Right now it has more to do with a physical appearance. Not the mentality. I have never been told in person by anyone that I am sexy. I've always been cute, funny, and sunny. Reminds me of a baby pig. Even their oinks are adorable at that age. Rumor has it I have a fantastic phone voice, and my cheerfulness exudes. I also sound flirtatious when I don't mean to on the phone and in person. It has always amazed me how guys especially fall in love with the voice, but when they meet me in person... they're just friendly.
Call me what you want, but for once, I would LOVE to have my voice match my body. So in time I WILL match my voice. Because I'm not going to start smoking to age myself! :)
I hope I have put some positive light to my name, and no one will be disappointed anymore. It's a good thing! It's a GREAT thing!
