Even Pika's a Red Sox fan - and that was long before Dice-K and the Oki-dokie came to town

With my Gazelle Boy of a son, he wins races and I finish them.

Adventures of a Pika

Hey hey there. I'm Pika and I'm on my way to becoming a thin, healthy runner rather than stay in the back of the pack. I have 50 pounds to shed and thought I'd give this a shot.

Short term I'm looking to fit comfortably into size 14 jeans when the fall comes around.

My Program:
I'm going to WW and training for a 1/2 marathon in the fall. I'm also going to yoga 2x's a week and started some strength training.

Personal Information:
I am a HUGE Red Sox fan. Not the kind that can quote stats, but the person who can look at the personalities and heart and soul of the team.

Hi Pika this is Carol from The Crock Pot Team, wishing you a great day.

We have over a dozen new recipe threads as of Jan 2011 . . . so you can find and/or post chicken recipes on the Chicken Thread, and so on.

Check out the Weight Watchers Recipe Thread . . . I don't do WW but some of those looked really, really good when I posted them . . .

There are also diabetic recipe threads, vegetarian, etc. And we have a Pantry Challenge starting in March. Hope you are doing well on your SparkJourney; you can do it!

Hey,
I was just on Boston's team, and saw your post. How'd you do on the 10K? I was there and so was SeppiSusan. Wasn't it great?? So inspiring. It was my first time and I LOVED it! I'll be all over it again next year...

Terri

Hi Pika! Thank you so much for your helpful comment on my blog! I think it is a great idea to entertain here at home. We have a pretty small house but it's got a roofdeck so in the spring we will definitely have some people over to hang out up there. I will have to check out that Rachael Ray cookbook you mentioned.
Thanks again for your support and all the best to you with your goals here with Spark!
