(9/22/10 I'm going to call this one done since I don't view this as a problem area anymore.) Goal: Size 6 jeans (done 9/22/10) Goal: Run 10k on 10/23/10 (it wasn't pretty, but done) Goal: Run a 5k under 30 min. (done 4/23/11) Goal: Half marathon (done 10/23/11) Current Goal: Get under 120
No puppy news yet, I'm still waiting to hear if I'm getting one out of the litter that I want...but your problem with the garbage made me think of something I saw on one of those animal planet shows. They said to keep dogs from knocking over your garbage cans (especially small dogs), put a weight in the bottom of the can before you put the bag in. They showed a weight like you would put on a barbell, but I guess most anything would work. If you try it - let me know if it works. I may have to employ it at my house with the new youngster!
This whole move has been a whirlwind let me tell you.
We are in the final stages now. We will be in our new house next week. So now is crunch time of getting things cleaned up & moved out. We are down to the bare essentials too. It's looking might empty in here.
In this whole process I've gained 10-12 pounds! 7 of those since the end of August!
October WILL be my better month. It has to be.
Have you heard when the next round of BTS starts? Maybe I missed the boat on the new round.
How is life in your world? Mine world is rather chaotic at the moment. I'm trying to be "good" but the scale just keeps on creeping up & the pants just keep getting tighter.
It has been a whirlwind here with selling the house, getting back into sports & work schedules plus trying to pack & move in the "spare time". LOL There is little spare time let me tell you. So my eating hasn't been the best since I haven't been tracking. I'm trying to be good & eat home cooked meals vs eating out ... but there is much more I can & WILL do once we are moved & settled. My workouts have been pretty non-existent too. So that doesn't help!
I'm hoping October will be my month to Jumpstart back into my healthy living again.
