I moved to the United States two years ago and since then I put on so much weight. I fell in love with all cookies, doughnuts and ice cream from here! In September, searching on the web, I found out about Spark People and decided to give it a try. I loved it! It is amazing how many people have lost so much weight with the website's aid. A couple of weeks ago I decided to try the Spark coach. Currently I am taking part of the Spark Team 10 minutes daily exercise and also the 5 k your way. So far, I am doing fine. I need to be motivated and I think Spark People can really help me! I realized that changing my lifestyle is more important than losing some weight. I want to live better physically, emotionally and spiritually. Good luck to everybody!!!

My Goals:
More than losing weight I want to learn how to make better choices. I want to feel good physically, mentally and spiritually. Make my life and peopleīs life around me better.

Personal Information:
I share my life with my husband and best friend Dave. I have three stepchildren, but they
donīt live with us. We have two dogs, Stella and Katie. We love travelling and doing things together. I love gardening, flowers and vegetables. I always loved fruit and vegetables, I never liked meat that much. Two years ago, after watching a video about 'meat and the environment', I decided to become a vegetarian. It was very easy because I always ate lots of vegetables anyway. The same way I love vegetables and fruit, I love candies. I am trying to learn how to eat them in moderation. It is a very hard task, but I will succeed, I am sure!
I also love cooking, I love trying new and healthy dishes. I am so grateful for my life and i really want to take care of my body, so I can live better and feel better.

Thank you for the congratulations and being proud of me for the pound loss on the feed! It broke my plateau-finally! But, the weight is being stubborn as always...gotta keep going and change more with my eating and exercise!
