It's late summer and yes, I'm still down 100 pounds but not the 120 I once was. In the past four months we have bought a home as a temporary living space, moved to another state, started construction on our permanent home, had family members hospitalized and are going through the sale of our old home. Life gets in the way and those pounds we have worked so hard to get off creep back up. I'm 17 pounds over my all time low.

So what do you do when that happens. You say "ENOUGH" ...

You say "ENOUGH" and return to the things that have worked in the past. Exercise, Tracking, Quality Food Choices, Rest and SUPPORT. It's a journey and I'm back on the main highway pressing on!

I've been an "active" member of Sparkpeople since July 2010 and have lost over 100 pounds. One of the reasons I have had so much success it being a part of team-based challenges. They provide accountability, encouragement, motivation, camaraderie and push me slightly out of my comfort zone.
Jan. 2 - Ahoy! It's almost time for BEYOND THE SCALE and I'll be setting sail on the good ship ENCOURAGER with my fellow Pink Pirates! We are going to be focusing on small lifestyle changes on the journey to "Health & Fitness".

This has kept me making slow but steady progess toward "Health & Fitness". In 2014 I'm privileged to be part of a NEW challenge called BEYOND THE SCALE. This challenge runs in 10 week quarters and focuses on nutrition, fitness, wellness, motivation and education which when incorporated into our lifestyle result in weight loss.

If you would like more information you can join this informational team which will put you on the distribution list for notification about upcoming quarters.

Follow Your Dream
by: Amanda Bradley
Follow your dream.
Take one step at a time and don't settle for less,
Just continue to climb.
Follow your dream.
If you stumble, don't stop and lose sight of your goal
Press to the top.
For only on top can we see the whole view,
Can we see what we've done and what we can do;
Can we then have the vision to seek something new,
Press on.
Follow your dream.
