Can't give up

I've been trying to lose weight for 20 years, with no lasting success. The older I get, the harder it is. But just when I think I should give up, I try again. So here I am ... 46 years old and trying again to get back to the healthy weight and lifestyle I once took for granted. I admit I don't have a lot of hope for success this time. I feel beaten down on this quest. I can't quite muster the energy or enthusiasm I've had during previous attempts at weight loss. But I can't seem to give up. I ...

It's going to be hard to stay motivated. But I'm willing to try again.

My Goals:
I'm starting very simply. If I can get a piece of fresh fruit into my stomach every day this week, that will be amazing.

My Program:
If I can wake up each morning with the thought that "I need to be healthy" is my only priority, and if I do one thing healthy right off, then my whole day is a success, and that any other "plans" I have for the day take a backseat, then I will be doing better than every day prior to this.

I really enjoyed your blog. I have also gained 20 lbs. in the last 2 years after I turned 50. I am on a mission this time. I promised my granddaughter I would be around for a long time.

I did the video today and going to try and do it again if the house empties out.

Good luck to you!!

Thanks for commenting on my blogs and for stopping by! I too am 46 and we can do this even at this age, after all 46 is young in the whole scheme of things. The wonderful thing about the body is that we can keep reinventing ourselves and transforming our bodies to be what we want them to be. It is hard, but the effort is soooo worth it! I added you as a friend because we are all in this together! We are only as old as we let ourselves feel! emoticon emoticon emoticon
