Can't give up
I've been trying to lose weight for 20 years, with no lasting success. The older I get, the harder it is. But just when I think I should give up, I try again. So here I am ... 46 years old and trying again to get back to the healthy weight and lifestyle I once took for granted. I admit I don't have a lot of hope for success this time. So here I am ... 46 years old and trying again to get back to the healthy weight and lifestyle I once took for granted. I admit I don't have a lot of hope for success this time. I feel beaten down on this quest. I can't quite muster the energy or enthusiasm I've had during previous attempts at weight loss. But I can't seem to give up. I know what I need to do. It's going to be hard to stay motivated. But I'm willing to try again.

My Goals:
I'm starting very simply. If I can get a piece of fresh fruit into my stomach every day this week, that will be amazing.
My Program:
If I can wake up each morning with the thought that "I need to be healthy" is my only priority, and if I do one thing healthy right off, then my whole day is a success, and that any other "plans" I have for the day take a backseat, then I will be doing better than every day prior to this.
