I am choosing to make the rest of my life the BEST of my life!

Success is a Choice
"Today I will make many choices, and each will have a consequence. Today I can choose to tell myself that I am worth the effort, or I can tell myself doesn't matter, I'll do it tomorrow. Today I can choose to journal, or I can choose not to. Today I can choose to drink my water, or I can choose to be dehydrated. Today I can choose to stay in my points range, or I can choose to hinder my goals. Today I can choose to be more active, or I can choose to take the easy way. Today I can choose to be motivated, or I can choose to tell myself "I can't." Today I can choose success. IT IS MY CHOICE."

"You can become every courageous inch of yourself, your own heroine, but you have to act. No one can do this for you. It's up to you."
-Geneen Roth

One day at a time, making my health and happiness a priority. Never forgetting that I am always worth my best effort, and that I have the power to amaze myself!

In 2012, I lost 71 pounds. In 2013 I hit a plateau. Eventually, I gave up trying, and gained back most of the weight I'd lost.

In September 2014, I got back on track. My goal is to re-lose the pounds I re-gained, and to eventually reach a size 10. I will never give up on myself! Heroes fall down sometimes, but they always get back up.

"Think about how different life could be if you stopped emphasizing the end, the fix or getting there, and began enjoying each step of the way. If one moment was as good as the next. If the goal in life was not to fix yourself but to transform yourself. Here, after all, is a miracle; you are already on the journey. You already know and already have everything you need to continue. Relax, breathe, be kind to yourself and everyone else. Oh, there's one more thing; enjoy the ride!"
(Geneen Roth)

"An undivided heart. That's what my whole journey in conquering my cravings was about. When it comes to my body, I can't live with divided loyalties. I can either be loyal to honoring the Lord with my body or loyal to my cravings, desires, and many excuses for not exercising. The apostle Paul taught the Corinthians about this two thousand years ago when he wrote: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
(1 Corinthians 6:19).
-Lysa TerKeurst

'So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.'
-1 Corinthians 10:31

"We are carrying a masterpiece hidden within, but we are standing in the way. Sometimes we need to get out of our own way so the miracle happen. Remember...
Everyone is a masterpiece. God gave us life. We were born for a purpose in this time, right now. Fight to live your destiny!"

Do you need to wait to feel hungry before eating? Worst Diet Advice: 'Only Eat When Hungry'

Why you shouldn’t let hunger drive your dietary decisions . Don't believe it? What happens when you go to the supermarket hungry? Well you shop differently, of course, coming home with items you'd have never purchased on a full stomach. And what happens when you sit down to a meal hungry? Well you're still shopping of course, only this time you're shopping from your plate, your fridge, your cupboards, your freezer, or worst of all, from a menu. emoticon
