I can't believe I have been on this sight for 8 years. I came pretty close to my goal weight last year but, I have gained most of it back and I am back here to start over. I am tracking my food offline and trying to stay off carbs as much as possible. I really wanted to try the Keto diet but, I don't think it will work out with the blood thinner that I am taking due to all the green vegetables that you eat. I can only have a limited amount of vitamin K. I have seen lots of people having great results on the Keto diet I am trying to follow it as much as I can to a certain degree. So that is my plan for the rest of 2018. Every year I seem to say the same thing I really want to reach my goal weight and it never happens. Over and over on this emotional roller coaster of eating. I eat for all reasons and every excuse in the book. I am hoping to get my mind right and change that.

I enjoy walks in the park with my pugs Skittles and Violet. Playing tennis for exercise. Also, cooking healthy meals and trying new recipes.

    My thoughts for the day. Proverbs 15:15, " All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. Since I wanted to increase my merry heart I wrote a poem.
