Back at it!

I'm back after a long sabbatical from Sparkpeople. I had some very disturbing things happen to me emotionally and physically last November and am still trying to get through them. I had a heart stent put in last November and didn't know that I had a 90% blockage in my widow maker artery until they did a stress test on me. Thank God they found it before I had an actual heart attack! Not even a week later, I was back in the hospital with some complications. I have begun a better exercise ...
I'm back after a long sabbatical from Sparkpeople. I had some very disturbing things happen to me emotionally and physically last November and am still trying to get through them. I had a heart stent put in last November and didn't know that I had a 90% blockage in my widow maker artery until they did a stress test on me. Thank God they found it before I had an actual heart attack! Not even a week later, I was back in the hospital with some complications. I have begun a better exercise regimen now after going through cardiac rehab. I try to work out at least 4 times per week doing the treadmill and bike, stretching and lifting free weights. I also went through 2 very traumatic situations with my family in November and December of last year. One is still going on, but I am trying to work out things on my own. Now, I need to get my diet back on track and lose some more weight. Goal is 8 pounds for month of May.

Thanks for reading my DVD review. If you've been working out 4x a week, I have no doubt that you can do this video. You can always modify the moves too. Let me know what you think!

Hope you are having a great weekend! Come and check out our SP class of Jan 1-7, 2012! We have 5 new co-leaders (myself included) on our team who are trying to make the team new and exciting! We have posted some February challenges that might help motivate you to be the new you for life! Most of all, the members who are participating again are really supportive!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments on my blog. Given the breakdown in the pharmaceutical field in the 80s, HIV and/or Hepatitis are almost inevitable among the hemophiliac population that were around during that era. We now have a treatment path in front of us and I'm feeling optimistic about what lies ahead. I hope that your journey takes you to where you need to be - a healthier you! Let's tackle 2013!
