I am 28 years old and have been chunky the majority of my life. I was raised by my grandmother who passed away in January 09 and now I'm on my own trying to make it. So here I am again, 6 lbs heavier than my start weight when I joined in 09', battling a major road bump and trying to control stuffing food down over my sadness. My resolution is to learn how to control the stress, negative emotions and anxiety that drive me to overeat. I'm looking for super positive and motivating friends for support and in turn I'm trying to be positive and motivating myself. I'm going to be blogging on here (hopefully daily) as a mandatory stress reliever so feel free to subscribe! comments, support and criticism are always welcome.

My Goals:
love myself. be enlightened. find my calm centered and positive self and never let her go. be successful. maintain a healthy relationship with cheese.


My Program:
baby steps. right now I'm being careful. I'm trying not to push too hard so I won't run in terror like a flighty deer. I'm using the tracker when it's not too depressing, trying to be mindful of respecting my body as an extension of my awesomeosity, and focusing mostly on dropping my anxiety level. I'm trying to limit my caffeine and meat intake. Next hurdle, sugar and salt.

ADD ME! I'm cynical and sarcastic but I can also be kind and thoughtful. I'm looking for support and find it rewarding to help other people when I can. I also think if I build a larger support group on here I'll be more inclined to use it and visit it often!

    I felt the same way with shake, rattle and roll while jogging. No mirrors, just my imagination. Esp worried when my kids' friends would see me! The longer I went, the more comfortable I am with people seeing me. In 18 days, I'm doing a triathlon in form fitting shorts and shirt! Jiggling most everywhere, back fat which really "muffins" with the racer back bra and shirt, cherry red face, gallons of sweat and all. Gotta feel tough. I didn't believe I'd keep running, but I did. Lots of room for improvement, so working on new challenges to keep me going.

    When I saw your blog, I wanted to say, "No, don't give up, you are making changes, despite your crazy busy life, slow and steady!" I also would add that if your best friend wrote that blog, what would you say to her? Think about it, you would probably console her, tell her she is worth it, don't give up. YOU are WORTH it!!!
