I am married and mom to 2 beautiful girls 26 and 29. I've been trying to eat healthy and lose weight. Sweets are my downfall. I've taken up running but my weight holds me back.

Hiya - I'm a new-to-running sugar-addict too. I'm not overweight - but I struggle with the same issues. I've read lots of books about it - and it really is a chemical addiction we're dealing with. But there's not much support out there for people who don't want to be offered sweets, cakes, cookies - it's like we're walking in a minefield the whole time! I'm on Week 1 of the Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge. See you there!
