I saw your question on Momma_Little's post about what to do in Chicago on the weekend. We went this past summer for a long weekend. One of our favorite things was the Museum of Science and Industry. It was really cool for two 40-something adults. The kids we saw were also having a blast. We weren't overly impressed with the aquarium, but maybe because it was so crowded. We didn't get to the planetarium or the natural history museum or any art museums (ran out of time), but they have those as well. We also enjoyed our trip to the observation deck of the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower). The view was amazing! If your into baseball and nostalgia, Wrigley Field can't be missed. We also took a river tour describing the architecture of downtown that was fun as well. Millennium Park was a really nice outdoor space with an outdoor concert arena. They had a free concert one of the nights we were there. Hope this helps... 1959 days ago
Just stopping by to say, 'hi' and see how you are doing! We are having some cooler weather here, but temps are going back up in 90's for a few days! Summer is not wanting to 'hang it up'! Be sure to let us know how you all are and if there is any thing we can help you with! Have a 'blessed beyond measure' weekend!
Welcome to Spark! I was looking at some different teams when I saw your Blog title about Hospitality. My wife and I ran most things involving hospitality at the church we attend for about 7 years. So we understand where you're coming from. We'll be praying for you and your family as you minister In Prague. A good friend of ours is Czech. Also, I noticed that you joined Spark on my birthday. May God richly bless you and your family. 1997 days ago
