Generation - Etch A Sketch :)

Retired one year ago. I am putting more effort into being healthy and fit. Want to be a good example to adult children and grandchildren. Loving the freedom retirement brings. Having a blast in this next stage of my life! Even with less money ... life is good!

Favorite Quote (Author Unk.) "If you can't carry it in your heart, or on your back, you probably don't really need it."

I have had an Omron brand pedometer for quite some time. I am on my 3rd or 4th one. I carry it in my right pocket as I have lost pedometers when I clip them to my waistband. It has you enter your weight and stride length (previous one had you enter height) I have been happy with them, each one has lasted about 2 years.

I love my fitbit! I like that it tells me how far I've gone and that if I see myself within 400 steps of the next 1,000, I'll walk around to hit that goal. My husband thinks I'm crazy for pacing in the house to reach the next thousand steps. It is helpful to see what you're really doing, exercise wise.

I hope they're working on the tracking, I get so many calories more than I feel I should. Thanks for the info!

Keep on Sparkin'!
