Hello, Everyone! I live in NW Indiana. I joined SP during the summer of 2006, and I have really enjoyed using this site. It is really nice to have somewhere with all of the resources that they have here, and it is a constant motivation. Hello, Everyone! I live in NW Indiana. I joined SP during the summer of 2006, and I have really enjoyed using this site. It is really nice to have somewhere with all of the resources that they have here, and it is a constant motivation. I just love being able to talk with all of the other people, and to be there for them when they have their ups and downs just like they are for me. I have been "trying" to lose weight for a long time. I say "trying" because it was really just thinking about it and not doing anything. After joining this site, I had really put forth an effort. I lost quite a bit of weight and was doing great. Then for some reason, I just quit trying so hard. I guess when you think you're doing good, you get the idea that you don't need to watch it anymore, but you do. I know that it has to be a lifestyle change and not just a temporary program. After not trying for a while I became pregnant, and then I quit trying altogether. Now, 2 children and several years and pounds later, I am finally back and ready to go at this again. Even though I've been a mother for 5 years now, I still struggle with finding a balance between taking care of myself, my home and my family. I tend to focus on everyone and everything else instead of myself. I have come to the realization that I need to put me first, but that's easier said than done.

*When it hurts to look at the past, and you're too scared to look into the future, look beside you and your friends will be right there.

HI Jessica !! WOOHOOO YOU ARE DOING QUITE WELL hon ! SO PROUD TO CALL ya a PUPPY !! OH YEAH !!

Hon, whilie you are CLERLY DOING PAWSOLLENT !!! I wonder if you'd like to work with ur buddy,, she's quite experienced on seeing if you can also stay in range more. It's NOT EASY at first,,, but it can be done, though of course ,, here is the WISEST WISDOM I have for you ,,, DO NOT CUT OUT "ALL JUNK FOOD" at ONCE (If at ever all,, I have NOT cut it ALL out, but, am 100 % better than when I started). If you SUDDENLY DEPRIVE urself of ALL Junk food,, it WILL most likely (97%) lead you to an EATING BINGE ,,, and of course on SPARKS we are NOT a "Diet", but rather a LIFESTYLE and it takes time to get there hon.

So PLEASE do try, but DO NOT GO DRASTIC !! ur to new as a Puppy working on this,, to SUDDENLY DO SO !!! EASY goes,,, makes it STICK !!

For instance,,, I USED to have 6 to 8 cans of Pepsi a day,, and a WHOLE Pepperidge CAKE for supper,, with chips. Now I only enjoy chips very rarely , but they Are NOT TOTALLY GONE !!! The pepsi is gone, replaced,, and it went SLOWLY from reg pepsi , to Dt regular pepsi, to decaff dt pepsi, to just orange, rootbeer , non colas and they also had to be diet,,, to just sierra mist ,, diet ,, than I was FINALLY ready after 2 yrs of the Sierra Mist ONLY to drink,,, was FINALLY ready to go to Sparkling water. I did that for awhile,, than SLOWLY Started on 3 glasses of water,,, to 5 glasses,,, slower to 6 to 8 and now I have Sparkling water ONLY with my lunch and supper,,, and than it's less than a cup total for the day. :)

I hope this makes sense hon.
