Growing old gracefully!
I'm 48 and from northern CA. I was diagnosed as obese in 2003 and a tenth of a point away from being a diabetic. I'm currently working on getting back to a healthy BMI.. This site has a lot of great ideas and support. I've met many new friends here. I love the common goals! I am now able to keep up with my 5 grandchildren and I want to stay that way!

I''m watching what I''m eating and going to sign up for an exercise class and attend it. I''m going to more public places and interacting with people. I''m going to take part of my wages and start a savings acct the other part is going to pay off bills. I plan on being debt free by the year 2013!
