Greetings and Welcome to my Page.
I believe that good fortune only comes to those with the alertness to spot opportunities, the initiative to act on them and the tenacity to follow through and make things happen. So here I am!
Live long and Prosper!
Live healthy and happy!
Originally my goal was to weight 119 lbs, then with new medicine(Bydureon) for diabetes I was able to get down 119, so my new goal is 114. Right now I'm at 114.6. This 114 goal is very elusive so far, but I'll keep trying, my program is helping me.
Another goal is to control my blood sugar, which with new medicine I'm being able to achieve
1)To eat a balance diet.
2)Keep a good portion control
3)Walk 10,000 steps daily at least
4)Practice Yoga and Meditation 12-15 days at least in the month
5)Strength exercise 4 times a month

Thank you for the goodie - and Feliz Año Nuevo!
Hope you have a wonderful year!
Yeah, we're back on the road and walking more - and feeling better! We've decided to avoid altitudes, though, that seems to trigger a whole lot of problems for me.

Thank you for your concern. Saw the dr, he reported the findings from the initial testing. Wanted me to start on some meds to deal with what he thinks is the cause of the problems. I told him I don't want to take meds until we really know the cause of the symptoms. He said okay, let's start with the non-invasive tests - so we have 3 tests scheduled for tomorrow. We're looking to see if I have blood clots, or cholesterol build up in various places. If so, that lets us know which meds are more likely to help. (I pointed out that if I do have a clot, the statin meds won't deal with that. I think that's when he figured out that I was a fairly well informed patient. I do my homework, LOL.)
So we're in the process of dealing with things, but don't have final answers at this point in time. But I refuse to take pills and hope something works, when we don't really know what is wrong and there are about 12-20 possibilities as to the real cause.
I'll keep you posted.
