One Day, One Hour, One Minute, One Step At A Time -- Whatever It Takes
50-something single mom trying to find her tenacity and drive again. I hope that this time I don't run out of steam before I reach my goal. My spark page is a little deceptive in that it says I joined I long time ago, but I really only started participating here in October of 2012. Why I ignored this is beyond me, since I have found it incredibly helpful!

My Goals:
I want to slim down, take a load off of my poor, aging joints and to look good again. I want to stop being embarrassed by my appearance.
My Program:
I'm using the good old-fashioned, tried and true, ELEM. Eat Less, Exercise More. I have been going for a good brisk one or two mile walk nearly every day, increasing the difficulty and pace as I have been able to. I am watching what goes in my mouth and being vigilant about checking in here on SP to keep me mindful of my goals.
