Renewal

For the past ten years I have struggled with my weight, gaining and losing from time to time. Today I am renewing my efforts. I am ready to apply the lessons I've learned from past attempts and I look forward to meeting my goals.

My Goals:
Monthly Mini Goals

February
*lose 5lbs
*take meds and vitamins daily
*exercise:10k steps 6x a week
*drink 100oz of water (increase from 0 to 100oz)
*daily strength training

Steps to Success Mini Goals:
1. Lose first 5lbs
2. Lose first 10 lbs
3. 10% loss of SW:
4. first 20lb loss
5. Halfway mark

My Program:
February:
1. Pedometer on upon awakening
2. Eat fruit/veggies with every meal (raw at least 2x a day)
3. Drink 100oz water daily (increasing from 0oz to 100oz daily)
4. Walk to work Mon-Fri; Sundays & Days Off: Allen's Lane walk
5. Strength Training (to begin 2/12)
a. Sun/Tues/Thurs: Abs & Back &Arms
b. Mon/Wed/Fri:
Abs & Chest & Shoulders
c. Saturday: Rest

Other Information:
My passions are books, chocolate, writing, and gardening. I adore African Violets and am becoming an avid grower. Currently I have ten NOIDS, mostly because I have not established shelving for new plants. I am also an aspiring quilter, but haven't actually created one yet, but its a goal for the year.

I haven't tried a water pill but I do know that it pulls the water and sodium from the body and it makes you urinate a lot. That is prob not what you want but it will reduce the bloat.

Hey, I found the oatbran cookie recipe on the dukan recipe site. Since its just your oatbran, egg, ff yogurt and you can add some vanilla for flavor . I used it on attack. Might even be in the dukan book. Lots of ideas on the dukan site and they are always adding more. Susan
Oh the site is mydukandiet.com . Lots of ideas for the attack phase. I'm going to make the lime/cheesecake tomorrow.
