My Goals:
My highest weight was 192 pounds and now my goal is to keep my weight in the 120-125 pound range. I'm loving the grand adventure of maintenance!

My Program:
I was a vegetarian for 27 years and have been vegan for almost 4 years and have never felt better! I'm also a recovering sugar addict, so I know lots of tricks for avoiding sugar.
I love to exercise and vary my workouts quite a bit. Strength training, yoga, Pilates, bellydancing--I love it all!
I like to spend time time in the kitchen cooking up healthy vegan dishes or "vegan-izing" old favorites. I'm all about having lots of color in my food; the more vegetables the better!

Personal Information:
I live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and I recently switched occupations and am now working in a library--a dream realized!

I've been with the same guy for 31 years and am ridiculously happy with my husband, who incidentally also works in a library!

I'm 52 years old and at the age where I'm ready and willing to step into the role of Queen of my own life. I've earned it! It doesn't matter if others don't recognize me as royalty, it's enough that I know it!

I just joined Spark People and found your page by searching "Eat To Live" on the main page. I quickly joined the Eat to Live group you had listed on your page and then read your bio. I was so psyched! I'm a 52 year old woman living in the Blue Ridge of Virginia and I've been with my husband for 31 years and while he's a nurse and I'm a stay at home mom, we do love the library! :) Also, when I started my journey to better health, I was 196 lbs. I'm a vegetarian and an aspiring vegan who has been floundering somewhat but feel a strong desire to see this journey all the way through. I've been on this road for about 2 1/2 years now. At any rate, what a pleasure to meet you via your page. Thanks for being out there to motivate others. You're certainly an inspiration for me!

as easy as 123 right? lol. You are very close! Dr. Fuhrmans recommendations would have me at 115 but I think 123 may be a better goal- at least at this time. I shall see! Thanks for reading my blog.
