Thanks for the blog love! I've tried putting him in the stroller a few times. Poor thing sweats too fast lol Of course I have an all black stroller so I guess it pulls in the heat. It's been in the 80s over here, so when its not threatening rain we go get air. I haven't started counting it as exercise since I was getting used to taking him out by myself.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments on my blog! It is so hard for others to understand sensory issues if they don't have to deal with them on a day to day basis. I hope you are having a great, successful week! :)
Good luck on your road test this week. I love how every where else you can just retake your road test right away. Here in NYC, it takes weeks sometimes in between. Very annoying. I always told my boyfriend, if we lived somewhere else I would of passed this already lol And he always tells me if I can drive here, I can drive anywhere.
I was so excited to see your post about adding me as a friend, and why. I haven't met anyone else whose child has SPD. My son is 7 1/2 and just started his first day of 2nd grade today. I am VERY nervous about how he is doing. Send me a private email with some details about you and your son. I would love to compare notes and resource tips, etc. Cant wait to hear more from you! Hope the day treats you well.
Pleased to meet you :) Anything you need, anything at all, questions, need to vent, pick my brain, etc. you come to me without hesitation. Also, my personal email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to use it. My son was diagnosed at age 4 as well, but I knew long before then he was a little quirky :) I'd love to talk more to you when you have time.
