Hi. I am Rachael. I live in south central PA with my boyfriend, our 2 cats and dog. I have 2 adult sons who make me very proud, and I work with adults with intellectual disabilities. I have been morbidly obese for most of my adult life and have been quite sedentary. I also used to be a binge eater, emotional eater and was addicted to fast food and delivery. I am up to this challenge.

My Goals:
I would like to lose weight, get more fit and enjoy my life today (not just after I lose the weight).

Learn to live (and eat) mindfully.

Maintain a regular sleep schedule.

My Program:
Eat mostly whole foods and give up the processed stuff, using the Spark People tracker.

Walk or use the treadmill or bike (or a combination) 5 days a week increasing intensity and time as I go. Currently I am at 35 minutes.

Hi Rachael; My name is Pat. I added you as a friend. I hope you will do the same. I have struggled with obesity all my adult life. My lowest was 245 when I was in my 30's. Most of my life I have weighed between 250 and 295. Highest weight 319. I am retired, a widow with no children. I struggle with emotional and binge eating. I really don't have much will power. I am pretty lazy. I want to be active but I am not. Maybe we can encourage each other help and each other be accountable. Pat
