My Goals:
1) Lose 44 pounds by Oct. 15th 2008. My 33rd birhtday.
2) Ride my bike to and from work daily - 12 miles round trip.
3) Learn how to play golf.
4) Make new friends.
5) Learn to ride horses.
6) To buy a motorcycle by next Spring.


My Program:
I am tracking my calories and being honest about it. I am committed to riding my bike to work at least 3 days a week. I work with a personal trainer once a week and weight train at least 4 - including the time with my trainer. I sauna as often as I can. It relieves stress and eliminates toxins. I am also choosing to focus on my daily accomplishements, not my shortcomings. I journal every night and this gives me the time to reflect on my day and the progress I am making.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Northwest Arkansas. I have been living in Colorado for almost 9 years now. I love to flyfish, ride my bike, hike and spend time in the sun. I am not super social but I do enjoy getting together with small groups of close friends or one on one time.

You were right about the steel cut oats-LOL! I found some but I won't switch over until I run out of my regular oatmeal. BTW- I have discovered Dannon Non-Fat Yogurt-lots of protein!!! I'll tell you all about it!

Congratulations on losing 50 pounds. You are doing fantastic with your goal. I ride my bike to-from work as much as I can. I used to have an 8 mile round trip, but now I live 17 miles away. So, what I do is drive in-ride home and the next day reverse that. Also own a bunch of horses. Stop by my page some time. Good for you for journaling every day!
