Working on the 2017 5% SUMMER CHALLENGE!

Busy schedules plague us all on our weight loss journey. I have found it is so important to track food, exercise, and water. Even with diligent effort, I had to go out of town two separate occasions last week. On Tuesday, my sister had a mastectomy. I did not have time to exercise because of travel and time at the hospital. So, in my plan, this was going to be my rest day. I still watched my calories and charted. Friday I traveled to Birmingham for a wedding. Before I drove 4 hours to Birmingham, I walked for 2 hours. I watched my calories and tracked
Saturday and Sunday. I was disappointed to see I did not lose any weight this week. I thought since I was doing the same things (walking for 6 miles and staying within calories range) I should have lost weight. But even though you THINK you are doing the same thing, taking too many rest days can slip up on you when you are busy or out of your normal routine. The CARDIO OVER TIME REPORT is a good graphic to show you how you have done compared to other weeks. Don't let your good intentions, yet busy schedules get you off track! This report is a visual that will keep you honest with yourself and keep you motivated to keep on keeping on!
